Half Marathon - 21km

Starting at the Canterbury A&P Grounds, you will spread out through the park and enter the pathways at the Curletts Road entry and follow the paths under the underpass of the motorway, to the turnaround at Carrs Basin.

Then return to the underpass where you’ll follow the pathway along Wigram Road, Annex Road the pathway beside the motorway to the turnaround.

On return runners will return to the underpass and run back out to the original turnaround at Carrs Basin and then return to the Finish line on McFarlane Ave at the Canterbury A&P Grounds outside the Riding for the Disabled.

There will be 1km markers throughout the event for the Half Marathon.

10km

The 10km runners will start at the same time as the Half Marathon runners and will run out through the underpass and continue toward Carrs Basin.  When the 10km runners reach the 5km marker, they turn and return to the Finish Line at McFarlane Ave.

Walkers/Hybrid

Walkers and Hybrid competitors will start 5 minutes after the runners start.  We ask all runners during the event to let walkers know if they’re coming up on them.  Walkers, please be aware of runners coming up on you throughout the event, especially on the Curletts Road portion of the pathways.

Hybrid competitors can run and walk when they like, although we ask that competitors don't run the full distance as this isn't in the spirit of the category.
